Deputy Director, Samuel Grushevsky, named Fellows of the American Mathematical Society

The Fellows of the American Mathematical Society program recognizes members who have made outstanding contributions to the creation, exposition, advancement, communication, and utilization of mathematics.

The Simons Center for Geometry and Physics is honored to announce that our own Deputy Director, Samuel Grushevsky, has been selected as a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society, class of 2022, for his contributions to algebraic geometry and Teichmuller dynamics, and service to the mathematical community. Grushevsky is one of the forty-five mathematical scientists selected worldwide.
