Art and Culture

The Art & Culture initiative at the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics is designed to cultivate conversation and connect scientists, artists, and the community at large. It is inspired by the conviction that art and culture advance expression for a deeper understanding of the sciences and humanities, making room for unexpected encounters and new ideas. The endeavor includes an outreach program that hosts lectures, art exhibitions, music, theatre, film, publications, and special events that bring the Simons Center and Stony Brook communities together.
