Abstract:
Recently difference equations of the form $$V_i+a_i^1V_{i+1}+\cdots +a_i^kV_{i+k}+V_{i+k+1}=0$$ with $n$-periodic coefficients have attracted additional interest and become central for various problems in the theory of integrable systems, the theory of cluster algebras, the theory of friezed patterns.
