Abstract: Scattering amplitudes in planar N=4 super Yang-Mills theory are known to possess a hidden symmetry, the so-called dual (super)conformal symmetry. I will argue that the dilatation operator in this theory has the same symmetry. I will also demonstrate that the dual conformal symmetry is powerful enough to fix the eigenspectrum of the dilatation operator to the lowest order in the coupling.
