Abstract: Let X be a compact Kaehler manifold. I will show, following a joint work with A.Zeriahi, that the Kaehler-Ricci flow (as well as its twisted versions) can be run from an arbitrary positive closed current with zero Lelong numbers and immediately smoothes it. If time permits, I will also explain a recent extension of this result by DiNezza and Lu which takes care of initial data with positive Lelong numbers.
