Abstract: Burge pairs are pairs of Young diagrams that satisfy specific conditions. They were introduced by W H Burge in the 1990’s in studies of Roger-Ramanujan identities, and subsequently used in studies of minimal model Virasoro characters in terms of quasi-particle excitations.

In this talk, I wish to outline how one can adapt the AGT correspondence to compute conformal blocks in Virasoro minimal conformal field theories by simply restricting the sums in the instanton partition functions to Burge pairs.
