Abstract: We describe N=2 supersymmetric theories on compact four-manifolds admitting a U(1) isometry. We show that the partition function on S^2 x S^2 contains as building blocks the three point functions and conformal blocks of Liouville gravity. Finally, we briefly discuss contour integral formulae for Donaldson polynomials and their computation via CFT.
