Spring 2012

During the Spring of 2012, the Simons Center will have a program in various
aspects of algebraic topology with applications to physics. The program
is organized by Dan Freed and Greg Moore, who will make regular week-long
visits to the Center during the Spring, and Constantin Teleman, who will be
in residence at the Center the entire semester. The program will cover topics
such as Differential Cohomology and its generalizations, the Atiyah-Segal/
Lurie cobordism approach to Topological Field Theory, homological methods,
including operads, applied to Quantum Field Theories, and the supersymmetric,
6-dimensional (2,0) quantum field theories.
