Stony Brook University’s Simons Center for Geometry and Physics is an endowed research organization devoted to furthering fundamental knowledge in geometry and theoretical physics, especially knowledge at the interface of these two disciplines. It is expected that RAPs will have a daily presence at the Center during the Stony Brook academic year and be an active participant in the activities of the Center that overlap with their scientific interests. RAPs are expected to assist in the organization of workshops and programs in the Center, perform independent and collaborative research, apply for research grants and prepare their work for publication. For more information about the Center, visit: SCGP – About and SCGP – Science.
