WEEK 2 – Dr. Smirnov will give 4 lectures as a series, Wednesdays at 4:00pm through October 3rd.

Abstract: I shall start with explaining the Bazhanov-Lukyanov-Zamolodchikov construction and its relation to the Baxter equations. Then I shall explain how further development of this construction leads to algebraic description of the space of local operators for lattice models which is deeply related to the description of CFT in terms of Virasoro generators. Finally, I shall introduce the periods of the quantum of the hyperelliptic differentials, and show how the correlation functions can be expressed in terms of the deformed normalized second kind differential.
