Title: Elliptic Curves and Dynamics

Abstract: The talk with first describe some fascinating examples due to Bonifant and Dabija of holomorphic maps of the real or complex projective plane which carry an elliptic curve onto itself. It will then try to describe the dynamical behavior of these examples, using their computation of the associated “transverse Lyapunov exponent”.
