Abstract: I will try to give an introductory account of the isomorphism between loop homology and the symplectic cohomology of cotangent bundles. The main focus will be on describing the local systems that appear in the comparison, constructing operations on the string topology side, and stating the correct result over the integers with appropriate gradings.
