Abstract: I will present a newly developed approach to compute the three point function in N=4 SYM at weak coupling. It is inspired from the string vertex in string field theory, hence the name spin vertex. I will explain how to construct the spin vertex in the non-interacting theory with the help of the oscillator representation, then I will show how it encodes the integrable structure via the monodromy condition. The aim is to deform this structure in the interacting theory, and to use integrability to determine the three point function at higher loop order.
