Recent Developments in the Mathematical Study of Gauge Theory: The workshop will focus on geometrical and analytical aspects Gauge Theories beyond the `classical’ cases of SU(2)- and SO(3)-gauge theory in dimensions 3 and 4. Topics will include gauge theory on complex manifolds and on manifolds with exceptional holonomy, the Kapustin-Witten equation and its connections with Khovanov homology, and gauge theory with non-compact gauge groups and coupled equations such as the Vafa-Witten equations. Problems of compactness and singularity formation will be among the themes of the workshop.
