Apply to a Workshop Now

Organized by Lara Anderson and Laura Schaposnik

The workshop will be devoted to recent exciting developments related to Higgs bundles and the Hitchin fibration, and string theory. The purpose of the workshop is to bring key leading researchers of related fields together with young researchers to establish new directions and investigate shared challenges at the interface of physics and mathematics — including the theory of Hitchin Systems and singular geometry within string theory.

We are committed to academic freedom and keeping science open to all individuals. We encourage anyone interested in attending to apply, regardless of race, sex, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, pregnancy, immigration status, or any other aspect of identity.
