Fourth Annual Summer School: Simons Collaboration on the Many Electron Problem: June 19 – 23, 2017
The Simons Collaboration on the Many Electron Problem will hold its fourth annual summer school June 19-23 at the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics at Stony Brook University. 55 collaboration members and guests will participate. Organized by collaboration scientist Boris Svistunov, the school will focus on novel Monte Carlo
methods. Junior members of the collaboration will present their recent work. Members of the SCGP and Stony Brook scientific communities are welcome to attend all activities.
The school will be preceded by a short course on scientific programming methods, June 16-18, which will include hands-on tutorials in ALPS, iTensor and Triqs. The intensive hands-on nature of the short course means that participation is by pre-registration; only a very limited number of external participants can be accommodated.
