Directions from the Simons Center to Smith Point Beach
Leave the University and head south on Nicolls Rd.
Stay on Nicolls Rd to the Long Island Expressway, (LIE), also called Route 495.
Go east to William Floyd Parkway (Exit 68).
Go south on William Floyd Parkway all the way to the end.
After crossing the causeway to Fire Island, go around the roundabout to the parking (there is a fee).

Directions from the Simons Center to Robert Moses, FIELD 3
Leave the University and head south on Nicolls Rd.
Stay on Nicolls Rd to NY 27W, also called Sunrise Highway
Go west on 27W to exit 41 toward Robert Moses Causesway/Southern State Pkwy
Take Robert Moses Causeway south until the end, bear right at the traffic circle for field 3. There is a fee.
Directions from the Simons Center to Sunken Meadow Beach
Leave the University and head north on Nicolls Rd.
Take NY 25a west, also called North Country Rd/Main St
Continue on NY25a through Smithtown and Kings Park to merge onto Sunken Meadow State Pkwy north towards Sunken Meadow Park. Follow Rd to the end.
Park in main parking lot to the right of the traffic circle. There is a fee.
