Abstract: We consider a model of a classical ideal two-dimensional fluid. Hydrodynamics of this model is Hamiltonian, nonlinear and has important features offractional quantum Hall states. The liquid is incompressible, reproducesstatic properties of some FQHE states and exhibits non-vanishing Hall viscosity. We discuss the origin of the Hall viscosity in hydrodynamics.
