Wednesday, October 31st
The Hyper Kahler Geometry Workshop will be held in the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics, Lecture Hall 102 beginning at 9:30 am.

The SCGP Cafe will be serving breakfast and lunch.

All other activity in the Center is to be determined, please check back for updates.

 

Earlier Message:

Due to inclement weather, there will be the following changes to activities and events in the SCGP.  Please note that the Center’s building will be closed from Monday, October 29th – Tuesday, October 30th.  Key card access will continue to work.

Monday, October 29th

  • The Hyper-Kahler Geometry Workshop will hold informal talks at Danford’s Inn, Port Jefferson in the Coastal Room starting at 9:30 am.
  • The screening of They Call it Myanmar is cancelled.
  • The SCGP Cafe is closed.

Tuesday, October 30th

  • The Hyper-Kahler Geometry Workshop will hold informal talks at Danford’s Inn, Port Jefferson in the Coastal Room starting at 9:30 am.
  • Peter Ozsvath’s Lecture series on Heegaard Floer Homology is postponed to next Tuesday, November 6th.
  • The SCGP Post Doc Seminar:  Eric Malm K-theory will be held at a later date.
  • The SCGP Cafe is closed.

If weather and other conditions allow, normal workshop and academic activity as well as Cafe service will resume on Wednesday, October 31st.  Please check back for updates.
