Last Thursday was the first International Culinary Masters Series in the SCGP cafe. The series began with Italy and focused on its distinct cuisine and wine. Participants arrived to find an array of colorful, fresh ingredients, and were taught how to prepare four recipes from start to finish.
This will also continue in each upcoming class, and you will get a firm grasp of basic cooking techniques and an understanding of essential Italian preparations, such as making fresh pasta dough from scratch. After the cooking is done, you will sit down and enjoy the dishes you cooked, paired with a tasting of specially selected Italian wines, with your class companions. As part of this event, participants will experience live demonstration, tastings, and wine pairings.
