The mission of the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics is to further fundamental research in geometry and theoretical physics, specifically at the interface of these two fields. The Center supports collaborative research at the frontiers of mathematics and physics, and is committed to sharing this knowledge with the broader community.
As government funding for basic research continues to contract, the Center is thankful for friends like you to advance its mission. Philanthropic dollars for academic workshops, graduate student stipends and faculty research enable the Simons Center to convene the best and brightest minds from around the world, fueling the engine of ingenuity and creativity within a world-class environment devoted to the most challenging questions of our time.
The Friends of SCGP program supports this mission and creates cultural and educational opportunities for members to engage with our esteemed faculty and guest visitors.
