There have been exciting recent advancements in various aspects of holography, black hole physics, and thermal quantum matter. This progress underscores the need for a platform where researchers from these fields can come together to exchange their latest developments, share new insights, and collaborate. The program will cover a range of topics, including probes of black hole singularities, characterizations of quasinormal modes, bootstrap methods for thermal correlators, constraints on transport coefficients and their implications, and effective field theories for hydrodynamics.

This workshop is dedicated in memory of Dr. Umut Gürsoy.

This workshop is associated with the program: Black Hole Physics from Strongly Coupled Thermal Dynamics: May 12-June 13, 20250
