The Simons Physics Summer Workshop is the Fifteenth conducted by the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics at Stony Brook and the twentieth in the series Simons Physics Summer Workshops.   This year the Simons Summer Workshop will celebrate its 20th anniversary and have a variety of speakers from past workshops to form a reunion and update us on their current interests.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

  • All talks will be held in the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics Lecture Hall (Room 102).
  • Breakfast will be served daily 9AM in the SCGP Cafe, 2nd floor.
  • Lunch will be served from 12:00pm-2:00pm in the SCGP Cafe, 2nd floor.
  • Tea time will be at 3:30PM (4PM Tuesdays) SCGP Cafe or Lobby

Wednesdays

  • The talk will be at Smith Point Beach (please see transportation schedule for details). Lunch will be served at Smith Point Beach around 12:30pm.
