Concerts

The Simons Center for Geometry and Physics’ concerts are rooted in the four-week Simons Summer Workshop that commenced in 2003 and have been a feature of the Center since 2008. The now annual Tuesday Summer Concert series present four evenings of exceptional music including classical, jazz, and contemporary genres. The Center has evolved to host special concerts during the academic year and endeavors to host musicians from Stony Brook’s esteemed Department of Music.
